Voting Opens for March's Free PS4 Indie Game Feb. 9

Heads up, PlayStation gamers: It's time to get informed then you tin make an educated vote next week.

No, we're not talking about the U.S. presidential race. Sony on Mon announced it is bringing back its Vote to Play programme, offering PlayStation Plus members the opportunity to vote for the indie title they want for gratis next calendar month. Voting begins Feb. 9, and at that place are three candidates to choose from: Activeness Henk!, Assault Android Cactus, and Broforce.

The game with the most votes will be added to the March lineup of gratis titles for PlayStation Plus members. Let'due south take a closer expect at each of the three candidates.

Action Henk!, from publisher Curve Digital and programmer RageSquid, is a "lite-hearted racer where you run, bound, and — yes — butt-slide your way through a host of toy room environments with past-their-prime action figures," according to PlayStation Plus Content Partnership Manager Greg Lewickyj.

Attack Android Cactus, adult by Witch Beam, is a twin stick shooter (where i joystick is used for movement and the other for firing) with a "unique battery mechanic (in lieu of lives)," Lewickyj wrote. It supports Shareplay, a feature that lets a friend bring together your game for up to an hour at a time.

Finally, Broforce, from publisher Devolver and developer Costless Lives, is a side-scrolling shooting game, which Lewickyj described as "part irreverent spoof and role loving homage to what are at present classic movies and classic games."

To vote adjacent week, log into your PS4 with your PSN account and access Vote to Play under the dedicated PlayStation Plus section on the top left corner of your home screen.
